If you had to choose only one product for better sleep what would it be?

There are various supplements that are recommended. A few of them are as follows:

Valerian Root
Melatonin
Tryptophan
GABA
Theanine
5-HTP

ZMA which includes Zinc, Magnesium, and Vitamin B6 is also a good supplement to take to promote a restful sleep. It does not actually do much in terms of putting you to sleep.

I have used tryptophan in the past for anxiety issues. It actually helped to regulate my sleep nicely.
